WWE News: Roman Reigns Reveals If He Wants To Fight 16-Time Champion John Cena Again

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Roman Reigns has insisted that he would love to go against 16-time world champion John Cena again.

Roman Reigns, who is currently signed with the WWE under the SmackDown brand, appeared in the latest episode of "India Asks WWE" from WWE Now India. The series, which is hosted by Gaelyn Mendonca, features WWE Superstars answering questions from fans in India.

John Cena now hardly makes an appearance in the WWE as his new Hollywood career keeps him well occupied. One of the questions that were asked to Roman Reigns was if he would fight John Cena once again in the WWE ring. To which, the SmackDown star replied with an affirmative answer, while he also explained what WWE is like now without the veteran wrestler.

“I'd love it. You know, I think it's really shown, over the past year or so, just how good John is, and just what having his presence does for our show. I really enjoyed the time that I spent in the ring with him and if you can't learn from someone like John, then shame on you."

"So, yeah, I think any time that we can have all the biggest Superstars to represent WWE, it's a good thing. I know he's busy and he's killing it right now in Hollywood, but yeah, if you ever want some again, John Boy, here we go,” Roman Reigns added.

Their last meeting that happened in 2017 was a very intense one, which probably is still fresh in the mind of the WWE Universe. In 2017, John Cena returned to WWE RAW and called out Roman Reigns. In the next few weeks, the wrestlers took shots at each other before a match was finally scheduled for No Mercy 2017.

The match saw a superman punch followed by a roaring Spear soon resulting in Reigns’ easy win over the legendary opponent at the Pay-Per-View (PPV) match. Soon after the match, John Cena nearly broke into tears as he mentioned about his possible retirement.
