WWE: Ronda Rousey Possibly Teasing Return Date With Goofy Video
It has been almost three months since WWE fans last saw Ronda Rousey. She last appeared on Wrestlemania 35 in an all-female event. From there, she went into a hiatus and said on her social media account that and hubby Travis Browne wanted to start a family. As of this writing, there is no official word yet on when the former WWE champion will return to the wrestling ring.
There have been numerous speculations swirling on when she could possibly return. However, it remains that the former Raw Women’s champion is still officially on leave. Many are wondering how the 32-year-old is doing right now and it appears that he may have just given a cryptic update – a video that could be hinting at a possible WWE return soon.
In a video, Rousey pokes fun at herself in a video and does some familiar WWE-related stuff ranging from trash-talking to some wrestling moves, TMZ reported. Among the wrestling-related activities included seeing her pinning her husband beating up a Hulk Hogan doll. D-von Dudley even had a cameo appearance in the video with Rousey pretending to leap off from the top of a ladder and (seemingly) dropping a big elbow on Browne through a folding table before the screen went black. The video can be viewed below.
There are a couple of things to consider. One is that Rousey may be simply playing around because she misses the WWE badly. Looking at the way the video was produced, however, pundits could suggest that this may be Rousey’s way of teasing a potential WWE return.
In case WWE followers may have forgotten, Rousey broke her hand during her match at Wrestlemania 35 where she was up against Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. If the video is to be a basis, it seems that the Rowdy One is well and good and her hand seems to be all healed up. So the better question now is when wrestling fans would see her back in action.
As mentioned in a previous post, the WWE is headed in a new direction with Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff at the helm. All that got off to an explosive start with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley battling through an LED board that left the two behemoths out cold. Rousey worked closely with Heyman during her tenure with the WWE. Could it be possible that both purposely produced the video to spice up her anticipated return?
