The New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski is known to be one of the biggest names in the NFL during his career on the field. His six-foot-six frame coupled with 268 pounds of raw athleticism has spearheaded him as one of the dominant forces during his time. He was a second-round draft pick in 2010 but was able to impact the league with his sheer skill and strength.

Gronk, as he is fondly called, has made a name for himself for being one of the most physically imposing players on the field. He’s a four-time First-team All-Pro with five Pro Bowl selections. He is also a proven winner as a pivotal piece in the Patriots’ championship runs. He’s won the Super Bowl for New England in 2014, 2017 and 2018.

But aside from his presence as a physical force in the NFL, he is also one of the most beloved individuals outside the field – mostly for his out of the top antics and unmatchable energy. He’s known to party, have fun, and depicted as the human embodiment of an incredible amount of testosterone.

He’s been into several gimmicks, whether it’s goofy commercials or comedic guest appearances. He was also a part of Wrestlemania in 2017 where he assisted and celebrated with Mojo Rawley inside the ring – it’s interesting to note that Rawley is a character that possesses similar physical attributes as Gronk.

The two shared time inside the ring with people reacting how Gronk fits perfectly as a member of the WWE: Physically appealing, possesses the strength, and has a ton of relentless confidence.

The rumors have hit its peak with the news of Gronk slated for a debut in the March 20 show of Smackdown. Per CBS by way of Bleacher Report, Gronk has mentioned before that he’s been interested in performing inside the ring.

“I've always dreamed about doing that, just one time, going in there and going full out. That may be a possibility, one time, down the road," he said.
