WWE Rumors: Stone Cold Steve Austin Set To Return To Raw
KEY POINTS
- Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE
- He is a six-time WWE champion
- He is rumored to return to Raw next month
In the world of WWE where ruthless aggression and rough attitudes reign supreme, there are only selectmen who can reach the elite level of toughness. Not a lot of performers have great athletic skills while carrying the confidence with a microphone. Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of them as he is arguably one of the best to ever lace up the boots inside the ring.
The Texas Rattlesnake was a force to be reckoned with as his in-ring skills complemented his outstanding ability to cut a promo. He has been associated with post-match beer chugs and the occasional flashing of his middle fingers – a trademark of his era.
The six-time WWE Champion has already proven what he can do in the wrestling industry. The master of the Stone Cold Stunner, Austin has revolutionized his style of wrestling. He’s unapologetic and intense as he’s portrayed as one of the best brawlers in the business. Aside from the Stunner he also has the Lou Thesz Press and Punches in his arsenal where he drops his opponent on the mat and simply mauls him with a series of punches.
He is remembered to have one of the biggest feuds with The Rock. Both of these wrestlers were the top talent in the industry at that time. Their rivalry propelled their careers into stardom, as their numerous matchups will be immortalized as one of the best in history.
In a tweet by Brad Shepard, by way of Ringside News, Stone Cold is set to make an appearance on the March 16 show of Monday Night Raw. These sporadic visits to the WWE most of the time lead to Austin providing a multitude of Stunners to whoever gets in his way. This could also be a setup for the upcoming Wrestlemania scheduled this April.
For now, Austin continues to host his show the Broken Skull Sessions on the WWE Network. Before that, he was busy also with his own podcast called The Steve Austin Show.
