WWE star Xavier Woods has hinted at being Roman Reigns’ next challenger on SmackDown.
Former Tag Team Champion Xavier posted a tweet on Monday featuring a video of Reigns defeating legendary wrestlers such as John Cena and Brock Lesnar. Reigns' statement, "There ain't nobody next" was also played several times during the clip. The final few moments in the video showed an old clip where Xavier had almost pinned The Tribal Chief.
Before Xaviers could pin Reigns, The Usos – twin brothers Joshua Samuel Fatu and Jonathan Solofa Fatu – interfered and began beating the former, leading to a DQ win for the Big Dog.
In April, Reigns defeated Lesnar to become an undisputed WWE and Universal Champion. The Tribal Chief has put down some of the biggest names in the WWE Company over the past couple of years. The four-time WWE champion Reigns said in the past that there is no one left who could conquer him in the ring.
In November 2021, Reigns and Woods came face to face in the WWE ring in an episode of SmackDown. The WWE Universal had thoroughly enjoyed their fight and had Reigns’ cousins The Usos not interfered, Reigns wouldn’t have triumphed, according to Sportskeeda.
The 35-year-old Woods, who made his competitive wrestling debut in 2005, is one of the most popular members of the WWE Company. On the other hand, Reigns now has reached a level that not many have in the past.
Earlier it was reported that the WWE are planning to build up a feud between Reigns and either Riddle or Randy Orton. Reigns recently helped The Usos beat RK-Bro, a team comprising Orton and Riddle, at the WrestleMania Blacklash.
Meanwhile, Reigns is set to headline two upcoming events -- Money in the Bank and SummerSlam, which are scheduled to take place in July.
