Roman Reigns punched World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO Vince McMahon on the night he was introduced as a member of the SmackDown Live roster and is now having issues with the company regarding his desire to appear on Monday Night RAW. WWE could be planning a new angle with an invasion from the superstars of the blue brand.

Reigns was drafted by SmackDown during the superstar shake-up after WrestleMania 35 in April and made an immediate impact by starting a feud with Elias and punching McMahon. He is scheduled to face Elias at WWE’s next pay-per-view Money In the Bank (MITB).

Despite being signed to the blue brand, “The Big Dog” recently tweeted of his intentions of making an appearance on RAW on Monday night, explaining that he still has unfinished business on RAW. But WWE was quick to play down talks about his arrival owing to his obligations to SmackDown.

“WWE officials have learned of Roman Reigns' desire to appear on Monday Night Raw, but as of now, and due to his obligations as a Smackdown Live Superstar, he will not be appearing on Monday Night Raw,” the promotion said in response to Reigns’ tweet via its official Twitter account.

But Reigns is not one to listen to the authorities and simply instructed them to be ready with his music after promising to kick-off the show at 8 p.m. EDT. This week’s episode will air from the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The televised event is expected to be a big one in the build-up toward MITB which will happen on May 19 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Pro-wrestling expert Dave Meltzer is predicting a potential invasion by the SmackDown Live stars – both the male and female superstars.

Reigns is said to be among the invaders with four of the women chosen for the Women’s Ladder Match also expected to play a role in the invasion. There is certain to be some drama involving Raw and SmackDown champion Becky Lynch, who is in line to face Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair to defend both her titles on the same night.

"We knew that they were going to pull something out.... I thought they might bring back Steve Austin, their idea was to bring Roman Reigns to Raw and other guys, so they cancelled their Monday Night SmackDown House show so a lot of the SmackDown guys might, I'm gonna guess no one's told me this, but my guess is you're going to have Roman Reigns and you're also going to have the four women and the four guys in the Money in the Bank match running in and doing an angle, maybe,” Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer, as transcribed by Sportskeeda.
