‘X Factor UK’ 2016 Spoilers: 6 Best Performances From Week 3 Of Auditions [WATCH]
“X Factor UK” 2016 has been off to a great start, with judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger discovering new talents as well as welcoming back some familiar faces.
But who gave the best performances in “The X Factor UK” 2016 Week 3 of auditions? Check out some of our favorite auditions from last week's episodes below!
Ivy Grace Paredes
The 33-year-old contestant from the Philippines had the judges in awe after a powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s “All The Man That I Need.” Her performance had Cowell wondering, “What just happened?” “She just sang our faces off, pretty much, that's what happened,” Scherzinger then replied. Walsh called her a “diva,” while Osbourne commented that Paredes did herself proud.
He Knows She Knows
Singing duo Shauna and Silva have only been together six months prior to their “X Factor UK” audition, but their chemistry was off the charts when they sang Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself.” However, getting four yeses from the judges wasn’t the only happy news they got that day. The couple also got engaged on television!
5 AM
Trio Jordan, Kieran and Nathan performed their version of Drake’s “One Dance,” impressing the judges not only with their voices but also their dance moves. “You look good together,” Cowell said of the group. “I genuinely believe that the next big band would be somebody who can dance as well as sing.” Scherzinger had a few concerns about their harmonies, but she also gave the group a “yes,” along with the other judges.
Aaron Smith
The 20-year-old performed Boyce Avenue’s version of “Heaven” by Bryan Adams, grabbing the attention of the judges. Check out his soulful audition below.
The Brooks
Twins Josh and Kyle Brooks, 17, first auditioned for the show in 2014, but they didn't make it to the live shows. Now they’re finally back and all grown up! They gave a heartfelt performance of Naughty Boy’s “Runnin’ (Lose It All).”
“You know what? This is such an improvement from when I first saw you,” Cowell said after their audition. Walsh, who sent them home after judges’ houses week back in 2014, agreed with Cowell, saying, “Much, much better guys. I wanted to put you through, I remember, but your vocals just wasn’t good enough. I was on the fence. I’m off the fence tonight, that was really, really good.”
Gifty Louise
Gifty Louise, 20, was booted off the show last year after losing her voice, but she's back and better than ever. Check out her powerful performance of Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama” below!
