The Super Bowl doesn’t mark the end of professional football games. The conclusion of the NFL season means the start of the 2020 XFL season.

The league that survived for just one season in 2001 is back. Eight teams will compete over the course of a 10-week regular season, followed by two playoff rounds that determine the champion.

Every single game is scheduled to be broadcast on national television. The first eight weeks of the season will feature Saturday and Sunday double-headers. Week 9 and Week 10 will both have a Thursday night and Saturday afternoon game, in addition to two Sunday games.

Week 1 kicks off Saturday when the Seattle Dragons visit the DC Defenders at 2 p.m. EST on ABC. The Houston Roughnecks will host the Los Angeles Wildcats at 5 p.m. EST on Fox.

Fox will broadcast Sunday’s game between the Tampa Bay Vipers and New York Guardians at 2 p.m. EST. The St. Louis BattleHawks are set to visit the Dallas Renegades at 5 p.m. EST.

The playoffs start Saturday, April 19 when the No.1 seed in the East hosts the East’s No.2 seed. The top two teams in the West will do battle Sunday, April 20.

The XFL Championship Game will take place on Sunday, April 26. ESPN will broadcast the contest.
