Football fans now have at least some information to rely on when trying to bet on the XFL in Week 2. Two of the four favorites covered the spread in Week 1, and both underdogs that won ATS also won outright. The final score went under the betting total in all but one game.

Here are picks against the spread for every game in Week 2 of the 2020 XFL season, as well as updated betting odds at U.S. sportsbooks.

New York Guardians (+6.5) at DC Defenders

In their Week 1 victory, the Guardians surrendered the most yards in the XFL while totaling the fewest yards on offense. New York will have a harder time forcing turnovers and keeping its opponent out of the end zone in DC. The Defenders had a rowdy crowd in the opener as Cardale Jones posted the league’s highest passer rating.

Prediction ATS: DC

Tampa Bay Vipers (-3) at Seattle Dragons

It’s hard to lay three points with the Vipers when that’s all they were able to put on the scoreboard in Week 1. Tampa Bay head coach Marc Trestman made some questionable decisions that could be a sign of things to come. Seattle was competitive as a heavy underdog in DC. Running back Kenneth Farrow and wide receiver Austin Proehl are potential impact playmakers for the Dragons.

Prediction ATS: Seattle

Dallas Renegades (-4) at Los Angeles Wildcats

The Wildcats played so poorly in the opener that they fired defensive coordinator Pepper Johnson after just one game. It’s unknown if a thigh injury will keep starting quarterback Josh Johnson out for another week, but the Renegades should have their No.1 signal caller under center with Landry Jones being cleared to play. Dallas entered the season as the favorites to win the championship, and they’ll show why that was the case Sunday.

Prediction ATS: Dallas

St. Louis BattleHawks (+8) at Houston Roughnecks

Roughnecks quarterback P.J. Walker was the best player in Week 1, leading the league with 272 passing yards and four touchdowns. The BattleHawks had the top two rushers with running back Matt Jones totaling 85 yards and quarterback Jordan Ta’amu going for 77 yards on nine carries. Houston is rightfully favored, but St. Louis’ ability to run effectively and play mistake-free football could make this a competitive contest

Prediction ATS: St. Louis
