Early this month, Xiaomi unleashed the all-new Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition with powerful specs and affordable price. It is now available for preorder with a price tag of nearly $78 on Gear Best.

According to MIUI, the Xiaomi Mi Box Enhanced Edition is powered by a very powerful MediaTek MT8693 chipset, which includes a 64-bit octa-core processor that consists of 2 x Cortex A72 dual-core CPUs working at 2 GHz along with 4 x Cortex A53 each working at 1.6 GHz.

It also includes Power VR GX6250 and the device carries support for OpenGL ES 3.1 for better graphics. The chipset is supported by 2 GB of RAM.

The Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition is a powerhouse device that has scored 66,105 on AnTuTu benchmarks. Compared to its predecessor model, the CPU and GPU 3D have been improved by 80 percent and 240 percent, respectively. For heat dissipation, the device is packed with a unique cooling system that automatically adjusts the speed of the in-built fan.

As far as connectivity is concerned, the Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi that offers a high speed of connectivity of 300 Mbps. It has v4.1 Bluetooth and it also comes with a Bluetooth remote control that can be used for playing games on Mi Box 3.

Other connectivity features include 2 USB ports and HDMI 2.0. It comes preloaded with MIUI TV interface that is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It supports 4K resolution videos at 60 Hz. The weight of the device is 190 grams and it measures 3.94 x 3.94 x 098 inches.

Currently, the device is available for purchase in China. However, Chinese retailers are now selling it across the world. Gear Best has started Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition preorder flash sale offer that will end in two days. It is selling the device for $77.99 during the flash sale. Without the presale offer, it is priced at $84.
