Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Now Available For Preorder At A Price Of $246 In US
Back in January, Xiaomi unveiled a mid-ranger dubbed “Redmi Note 3.” Some tech portals refer to this device as “Redmi Note 3 Pro.” This handset packs top-of-the-shelf configurations, combined with a grand exterior design and an inexpensive price tag. Now, this phone is available for preorder in the U.S.
Known for selling Xiaomi devices in the U.S., Gear Best is the first e-retailer to start the preorder window for the Redmi Note 3 Pro. This handset can now be ordered for $246.02. The device will apparently be shipped starting March 10, which is the end date of the preorder window.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro can be availed in three colors namely gray, gold and silver. It is worth noting that this device supports 4G LTE connectivity, along with 2G and 3G.
When it comes to specifications, the Redmi Note 3 Pro carries a 5.5-inch display, packed with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel screen resolution. Under the hood, a 64-bit hexa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 650) processor, running at 1.8 GHz, powers the handset.
On the software front, not the latest Marshmallow but Android 5.0 Lollipop runs the device out of the box, along with the new custom MIUI 7. There is a solid 3 GB of RAM on board and it comes equipped with 32 GB of native storage space. There is also a microSD card slot to facilitate expansion.
Speaking of camera configuration, the Redmi Note 3 Pro sports a 16-megapixel rear-facing sensor, in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies. Xiaomi has housed a 4,000 mAh battery unit to keep the lights on.
Other key Redmi Note 3 Pro features include a fingerprint scanner embedded at the back and dual SIM support.
