Yahoo! Sports was given a list of NBA All-Star Game reserve players close to half an hour before the list was to be announced on a live special airing on TNT.

According to Yahoo! Sports NBA columnist AdrianWojnarowski, who Tweeted the news, the list is as follows:

In the Eastern Conference, Boston's Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett were chosen alongside Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat, and Joe Johnson and Al Horford of the Atlanta Hawks.

In the Western Conference, San Antonio's Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, Los Angeles Lakers center Pau Gasol, Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook, Los Angeles Clippers rookie Blake Griffin, Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki, and Utah's Deron Williams were selected.

Yahoo! Sports' sources also said that Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash was a strong candidate to replace injured Houston Rocket's center Yao Ming who was voted a starter by fans.
