New York Yankees’ A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez) is to close a deal on a five-bedroom condo overlooking the Hudson River on the Upper West Side.

The condo unit takes up the whole 35th floor of a new 41-story building with twin towers called Rushmore, according to the WSJ. It is said to have cost between $5.5 and $6 million.

Yankee’s third baseman is considered one of the best all-around baseball players of all time. He was the youngest player ever to hit 500 home runs, breaking the record Jimmie Foxx set in 1939, and the youngest to hit 600, beating Babe Ruth's record by over a year. Rodriguez has fourteen 100-RBI seasons in his career, more than any player in history.

A-Rod is currently dating actress Cameron Diaz.
