Game 5 of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians was moved to Tuesday afternoon because of a rainout Monday night. The series has experienced a pair of rainouts, but it will finally conclude with the winner advancing to the 2022 MLB playoffs.

The first pitch is scheduled for 4:07 p.m. EST at Yankee Stadium. TBS will broadcast Game 5 on TV. Viewers can watch the Yankees and Guardians live stream on tbs.com or the TBS app.

The betting odds suggest that the rainout benefited the Yankees more than the Guardians. New York is a -180 favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook to win Game 5 just a few hours before the first pitch. The Yankees had -162 odds Monday morning.

Cleveland's odds have gone from +136 to +152 in the last 24 hours. The over/under for Game 5 is seven runs.

With another day of rest, the Yankees have chosen to start Nestor Cortes instead of Jameson Taillon, who was set to take the mound Monday night. Cortes had a 2.44 ERA in the regular season and is on three days' rest after giving up two runs in five innings in Game 2.

The Guardians are sticking with Aaron Civale as their Game 5 starter. Civale gets the nod over ace Shane Bieber, who held the Yankees to two runs in 5.2 innings in Game 3.

Civale should be on an extremely short leash before manager Terry Francona goes to his bullpen, which could include Bieber in relief. Cleveland's top two relievers, Emmanuel Clase and James Karinchak, last pitched Friday.

Taillon and Domingo German can give the Yankees length out of the bullpen. Wandy Peralta has been New York's most reliable reliever and has pitched at least one inning in every game during the series.

The winner of Game 5 will visit the Houston Astros in Game 1 of the ALCS Wednesday night.
