'Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon' Episode 44 Spoilers: The Falling Grim Comet

Ordinary citizens of the world remain unaware as the Grim Comet is about to crash and destroy the planet in "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" Episode 44. The new episode is titled "When the Grim Comet Falls."

Normal humans can’t see the Grim Comet and that’s why they are calm. However, Osamu Kirin, Moroha, Towa and Setsuna can see the approaching comet.

The official promo trailer of "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" Episode 44 shows Osamu introducing himself as a mild-mannered middle-school teacher.

However, in the present day, he is also living the secret life of a demon slayer. He is the former right arm of the Beast King of Japan, Kirinmaru. And he is into killing demons when he is not teaching little ones.

The trailer shows Osamu heading straight into the comet. Can Moroha, Setsuna and Towa stop the comet from annihilating humankind?

In the previous episode, Osamu was seen hunting demons lurking in the shadows. He looked at the sky and noted that more demons were appearing each day.

He wondered if it was the Grim Comet’s doing. He was sure that he sensed a fragment of the Grim Comet. Meanwhile, the city was getting ready for a concert by 6xs and Osamu feared that the demons might attack the concert-goers.

“Osamu Kirin has been quietly exterminating the demons that have been appearing in the present day. He asks Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha to slay demons at the concert that is happening,” read the official synopsis of Episode 43, as per Crunchyroll.

"Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" Episode 44 is scheduled to air on Feb. 26. The episode will stream on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Funimation in Japanese with English subtitles.
