'Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon' Episode 48 Spoilers - Beginning Of A New Journey

The new mission is set to take Towa, Setsuna and Moroha to Iyo Province in "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" Episode 48. The new episode is titled "A Never-Ending Future."

The official promo trailer of Episode 48 is out now. Rion and Kirinmaru have returned to the Sword of Amatsumikaboshi. Rion is grateful to Towa and the others as it is because of them she is able to bond again with her father Kirinmaru.

Now, a new adventure awaits the Half-Demon princesses.

In the previous episode, titled "Father and Daughter," Osamu Kirin was ready to kill Towa. But before Osamu could land the fatal blow, Riku came in between and grabbed Towa's neck.

Towa was shocked to see Riku attempting to kill her. Riku reveals he will kill those he loves. He wanted to kill Towa and follow her into her afterlife.

Meanwhile, Osamu, who was witnessing all the melodrama, decided not to intervene and allowed Riku to get his hands dirty. It was all part of Riku and Towa's plan as the former lunged at Osamu with his blade. But Osamu sensed the betrayal and struck Riku before he could even attack.

Towa was furious and she stabbed Osamu in the chest. Osamu grabbed the blade and announced that he won't be defeated by humans.

"Setsuna directs Towa and Moroha as they continue to sever Rion's threads of fate. Each time a thread is severed, more of Rion’s true feelings are revealed. As Kirinmaru fights Sesshomaru, he realizes the real reason he lost Rion," read the official synopsis of Episode 47, according to Crunchyroll.
