#YeahJeets! Yankees' Derek Jeter Allegedly Says 'Yeah Jeets' During Sex, According To 'Former Groupies Of Reddit' Thread

New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter may have some strange habits in the bedroom, if a viral Internet rumor can be believed.

A Reddit thread entitled “Former groupies of Reddit, what was your experience?” is one of the social media community’s most popular discussions at the moment. On the thread, so-called “groupies” describe their alleged sexual encounters with various celebrities, such as musicians John Mayer and Darius Rucker. However, the most interesting allegations are directed at Jeter.

In one post, Reddit user “diba_” describes a bizarre incident that a “friend’s cousin” allegedly witnessed at Jeter’s apartment. “My friend's cousin dated Derek Jeter for a while and had keys to his apartment. According to the story, she entered one day to find him butt ass naked on his couch watching highlights of himself and bumping his chest with his fist saying "YEAH JEETS, YEAH JEETS,” the post reads.

Later, another Reddit user responded to diba_’s post with a second Jeter groupie story.

“I actually kinda believe this. Only because one of my friends claims he knew a girl that went back to Derek Jeter's place one night and proceeded to [perform a sex act] on him. As she performed, Jeter put his hand on her head and said "Yeah Jeets, yeah Jeets," as she kept going. I believe it was a soft "yeah Jeets" as opposed to a screaming bumping "YEAH JEETS." But it's close enough. I never knew if it was true, but if someone unrelated has another "Yeah Jeets" story, it is gaining some validity to me."

A third Reddit user chimed in with a “Yeah Jeets” story of his own.

“Heard similar from a friend in Buffalo. Said friend dude knew a chick who met Jeets out at a bar in NYC. He takes her back to his place, she b---- him on his couch while he's watching ESPN Sports Center Top 10 plays which he was in. As she b------ him, he starts pinching/twisting his own nipples saying "Yeah Jeets". It's now a huge inside joke between friends, where we imitate said act and high five each other when out drinking at the bar when we see him on TV.”

But the accusations didn’t end there. Other Reddit users referenced a long-held Internet rumor that Jeter has herpes, and claimed that the Yankees star has infected several of his famous girlfriends with the condition.

To be clear, none of these claims regarding Jeter have been validated in any way; the Reddit thread is composed entirely of hearsay, and its claims are pretty outlandish. Still, the “Yeah Jeets” rumor is catching on -- #YeahJeets is already a viral trend on Twitter.

Jeter’s alleged antics weren’t the only topic of discussion on the “Former groupies of Reddit” thread. The community’s users posted salacious stories about Mayer, Rucker, rapper DMX, former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, “Nickelback” rocker Chad Kroeger, and several other celebrities.
