Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Zebra’ Release: When Can You Buy The Most Limited Colorway In Kanye West’s Line?
Prepare your wallets, sneakerheads. Just under one week after the release of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Black/Red” colorway, it seems another is coming down the pike.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra” is believed to be release on Feb. 25. Yeezy Mafia obtained the first official photos from the latest in Adidas’ line with Kanye West, much to the delight of shoe addicts and fashion lovers everywhere. The body of the sneaker features black and white stripes with the signature “SPLY-350” branding along the side in red. Like the “Black/Red” release, the “Zebra” colorway once again brings back the heel tab.
A full list of stores selling the “Zebra” Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has yet to be released. According to Hypebeast, the sneaker is set to launch at select retailers on Feb. 25. Reservations through the Adidas Confirmed app will open Feb. 22. The “Zebra” colorway is expected to be among the most limited of Yeezy Boost 350 V2 releases to date. A tweet from Yeezy Mafia suggests the sneakers will only be available online and in Adidas flagship stores. Anyone hoping to cop these on release day should be ready for long waits, crashing websites and possible disappointment.
While you may not be able to get your hands on the latest in West’s Adidas collection, there is still plenty to look forward to. On Wednesday, the “Famous” rapper previewed his Yeezy Season 5 collection during New York Fashion Week. The collection featured both clothes and shoes, including sneakers to be added to his line. West even showed up to the event wearing a pair of the athletic shoes, the names of which have yet to be released. Adidas did, however, tease them on Instagram.
Unlike the Yeezy Boost 350 and 750s, the sneakers previewed in Yeezy Season 5 have been met with some less than favorable reviews. In fact, many fans mocked the shoes, comparing them to the kind of shoes middle aged men wear and so on.
