‘You Had Me At Aloha’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Summer Nights are officially about to get more romantic on Hallmark Channel, as the network’s annual event kicks off with the first of its newest movie premieres, “You Had Me At Aloha,” starring Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith.
The film will be a delight to fans, not only because it is kicking off the event and was filmed on location in Hawaii, but because it marks yet another project starring Hutton and Smith, who are best known for their roles as Lee and Rosemary on “When Calls The Heart.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time they’ve teamed up for a movie either, as they also showed their on-screen chemistry in both “The Perfect Bride” in 2017 and “The Perfect Bride: Wedding Bells” in 2019. Both have also starred in other titles separately as well.
So what can fans expect to see in their newest project together? An epic romance on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands seems to be the way Hallmark is kicking off the summer months.
“When the host of a popular travel show resigns, the network enlists Paige (Hutton), to step in for the next season set in Hawaii,” a synopsis reads. “Unbeknownst to her, they have also hired Ben (Smith), who likes to push everything to the extreme.”
Of course, the two clash at first, but soon enough, a romance begins to bloom, as they also begin to realize they make a great team.
“As these two new co-hosts clash over their opposing ideas for production, they grapple with the fact that not only do they need each other to further their careers, but they also balance each other on and off the screen,” the synopsis reads.
“You Had Me At Aloha” premieres Saturday, June 5 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
