Young Prince George Gets A Sweet Kiss From Nanny Maria Borrallo
Prince George was just 8 months old when Prince William and Kate Middleton hired his nanny, Maria Borrallo. Since the Spanish nanny has been working for the Cambridges for five years, it is highly likely that she has a special bond with Prince George and his siblings.
On Instagram, one royal fan uploaded an adorable photo of a young Prince George being carried by his nanny while walking outdoors. Prince George, who is roughly around 1 year old in the photo, is wearing knitted long-sleeved top and navy-blue shorts. Borrallo, on the other hand, wearing a navy-blue sweater, a collared shirt, and navy-blue pants.
What makes the photo extremely adorable is the fact that Borrallo is kissing Prince George’s head while the young royal has his small hand covering his mouth. The sweet moment between Prince George and his nanny suggests that they are close to each other.
Princess George and Princes Charlotte have also been photographed with the nanny on multiple occasions. Borrallo accompanied Princess Charlotte to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding last year. She also rode backseat with the Cambridge kids when they attended Queen Elizabeth’s annual Christmas lunch.
Prince William and Middleton treat Borrallo as a family member since she spends so much time with their children. And if the royal couple dislikes how she is taking care of their children, she would have already been dismissed. The fact that she’s still around after five years could only mean positive things.
Borrallo is a graduate of Norland College in Bath, Norland, where nannies are taught everything from defensive driving and cooking to taking care of royal family members. The British royal family has a history of hiring nannies from the institution.
Royal commentator Victoria Murphy told ABC News that Borrallo really knows everything about bringing up a child.
Prince George’s current nanny is the only nanny that he has had since he was born. Prince William and Middleton have not hired another nanny to look after their three children.
