‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Can Billy’s Destructive Behavior Be Stopped?
He has become addicted to gambling once again and has been making some destructive decisions since he went on a massive losing streak. Now, as Billy once again spirals out of control, those around him will worry about whether or not they can put a stop to his destructive behavior on the Wednesday, Sept. 19 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) initially told Billy (Jason Thompson) she was okay with his gambling at a high-stakes poker game in Las Vegas, even though she had concerns. Since their return to Genoa City on the CBS soap though, she’s become increasingly concerned by his behavior, as she’s also seen him betting on horse races again as well. Now, she will finally admit to him how she really feels about his actions as he reveals an unbelievable secret.
Y&R spoilers tease that Phyllis “receives a shock.” Billy will likely confide in his girlfriend about his six-figure buy-in to the exclusive gambling syndicate. This could be the move that convinces her to also finally come clean and reveal to Billy that she doesn’t support the habit and wants it to stop—something that won’t sit well with him. He’s in too deep now, and Phyllis protesting will be a direct reminder of the times he fought with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about this same problem. However, she won’t be the only person who knows about his problem—though the others aware of it could be working to destroy his life.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) has been working with Kyle (Michael Mealor) to try and take Billy down as the CEO of Jabot, though the younger man went rogue to try and expose Billy’s gambling as a problem. He is, in fact, the one who arranged for Billy to be invited to the Vegas tournament as well as the new syndicate. Now, after learning about Billy’s secret wire transfer after business hours to join the syndicate, he will reveal to Ashley that he has proof Billy is embezzling company money to support his habit.
Now, Ashley will be forced to decide if she will use this information against her brother to successfully take him down—or if she will instead try to find a way to help him before he winds up in danger once again.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
