The very thing he had hoped would happen did and Adam seemed to remember something about his past. Now, with news that Adam has regained his memory, Victor will have to keep the peace as his other children express concern over the situation on the Tuesday, May 21 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Victor (Eric Braden) had been hopeful that Adam (Marc Grossman) would start remembering his past when he came back to Genoa City, but there wasn’t much hope on the CBS soap. However, after he was shot and managed to recover after surgery, Victor was elated when Adam opened his eyes and called him “Dad,” indicating he now remembers the life he had before the cabin explosion. However, as this news spread, Victor will be forced to keep the rest of the family, who have doubts about Adam’s return and his intentions, from revolting.

“Victor works to keep the peace,” spoilers reveal.

After hearing Adam’s memories finally returned, Nick (Joshua Morrow), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will all be naturally suspicious about the situation, because it will seem convenient that it took getting shot for him to remember any of them or anything about his life in Genoa City, when meeting them in person and even seeing his son again did nothing earlier. Victor will, of course, be outraged that they aren’t being supportive, which will also only add to the trouble.

Victoria and Nick, in particular, are concerned about Adam’s return because of the impact he could have on their lives. It’s clear Victor wants to reinstate him at Newman, which could deeply hurt Victoria since she would never have a chance to take over again with him also there, and that worries her. Meanwhile, Nick fears that if he remembers Christian is his own son biologically that he could take him away from him, even though he has always raised him as his own and Adam didn’t even want to raise the boy for himself before. Now, as they fret over what their brother’s memory returning means, Nick could be trying to plot a way to make sure that Adam doesn’t get the best of him.

“Nick considers his defense,” spoilers reveal.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
