‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Reveals The Truth About Juliet’s Pregnancy
His children know he had been named in a false sexual harassment suit and that he was later fired from his job. Now that he also knows he fathered a child with Juliet the night they had sex, Cane will officially have to come clean with Mattie and Charlie and tell them the full truth on the Friday, July 14 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Cane (Daniel Goddard) has seen his life spiral completely out of control ever since Juliet (Laur Allen) filed for sexual harassment after she was fired from Brash and Sassy on the CBS soap. Though he knows he never coerced her into sex with the promise of a job, Cane did know they slept together in Tokyo while drunk, and wanted to keep it a secret from both Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Lily (Christel Khalil). However, when Juliet confirmed she was pregnant and had conceived while in Japan, he was forced to come clean with both his wife and his boss. His marriage is still somewhat intact for now, but he lost his job after Victoria was forced to settle the case instead of fighting it in court.
Now, Cane knows he truly did father Juliet’s baby, after he made her take a paternity test and she showed up at his house with the results—which proved he was her baby’s father. With the official confirmation—and Lily’s demand that he not be a deadbeat father to his newest child, he now realizes he has to come clean with his kids, though telling them the truth could mean he’ll lose them.
“There’s something that you guys need to know,” he says to Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) in a preview clip.
“Whatever it is, just tell me,” Mattie replies.
Cane will then tell his kids that he got Juliet pregnant, and did in fact have sex with her and cheat on their mother. He will maintain that it was never something he intentionally did, but now that it happened, he needs to do the right thing and help take care of and raise this new baby.

Naturally, neither of his teenaged children will be happy with the news, and they will both storm out because they’re upset that he not only betrayed their family, but lied about it. With their reactions added to all the others Cane has dealt with since this story became public, he will realize just how much damage he has done with this whole situation. While he still has his wife, their marriage is barely holding on because of what he did. Now, he also has no job and his kids virtually hate him as well. He officially will realize he has almost nothing left now to fight for.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
