‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Makes A Move To Track Chloe Down

She was left without all the answers she wanted and feels as if she’ll never get justice for her husband’s murder. Now, Chelsea will tap into her con artist past in an effort to find out where Chloe is and finally get her closure on the Tuesday, May 9 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) finally learned the truth about Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) being responsible for Adam’s death on Chloe’s wedding day. After Nick (Joshua Morrow) presented her with evidence against Chloe, including a tracking device in Connor’s stuffed dinosaur toy, a stun gun, and a wrench, Chelsea still didn’t want to believe her best friend had murdered her husband. However, that changed on the CBS soap when she encountered Adam’s wedding ring and gloves. Her confrontation with Chloe sadly didn’t go as well as she’d hoped either, after she was knocked out with a lamp. Since then, Chloe has disappeared from not only Genoa City without a trace, but also the country.

Now, with the knowledge that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) is also in Genoa City, Chelsea will decide to make use of her connection to the past that no one else knows about, and will ask Jordan to do her a favor that will help her try and track Chloe down.

“You need something,” Jordan says in a preview clip.

“Yeah, and you’re the only one who can help me,” she replies.

It’s unclear just how well Jordan and Chelsea actually know each other or what their exact connection was in the past, but Chelsea came to town initially as a con artist, so they likely both had some shady moments then. If that is the case, Jordan may have further connections who could help Chelsea find out not only where Chloe went, but who helped her flee the country with a fake passport.

What Chelsea doesn’t know is that someone very close to her and Adam was the very person who helped Chloe, and that same person was also indirectly responsible for Adam’s death as well. Victor (Eric Braden) helped Chloe escape after Nick and the rest of his close family members learned he had partnered with Chloe to frame Adam for Constance Bingham’s murder, and that he was the reason she had actually come back to town. For now, Nick is keeping this information from Chelsea because he and the rest of his family are trying to protect their own reputations from the damage the truth about Victor would inflict on them. But if Jordan’s investigation uncovers the truth, not only will it mean that Victor’s secret could be out, but it could also inflict untold damage on Chelsea and Nick’s own relationship.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
