‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chloe Covers Her Tracks About Adam’s Death
She thought she got away with killing the man she blamed for her daughter’s death. However, Chloe will now need to work harder to keep her dirty little secret on the Monday, March 27 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) managed to get her revenge on Adam six months ago. In a preview clip for the latest episode of the CBS soap, however, she learns that she was careless when it came to covering her tracks. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) are suspicious of her after discovering a tracking device in the toy Connor had brought to the cabin the night of the explosion.
“That’s crazy!” Chloe says in the clip. “How did that get in there?”
“Why don’t you tell us?” Nick asks.

Knowing she can’t pin the tracking device on anyone else, Chloe will admit that she put it in the toy, but will quickly tell a new tale about how she did it to protect Chelsea when she and Adam were preparing to go on the run together. The story will seem to appease Chelsea, but Nick will still think there is something off about it. After, Chelsea will realize Chloe could have used the tracking device and found a way to the cabin after all. She knew about the secret passageway from the penthouse, which would have allowed her to both leave and return without the police noticing she was gone. With that new information, as well as the previous moments that just didn’t add up, like Chloe knowing about the view from the cabin and her comments that her life changed for the better after Adam died, Nick will set out to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, Chloe will realize she needs to better cover her tracks if she wants no one to know that she did in fact sneak out to the cabin the night of the explosion. She will take the tranquilizer gun she shot Adam with and decide to dispose of it before that too is discovered. She will now be in a race against the clock to make sure no one discovers that Adam’s death was far from accidental.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
