'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Hilary Attempts To Win Over Devon
She revealed on her show that Tessa had been arrested and hauled in to the police station, and now, after that move upset several people, including Devon, Hilary will make an attempt at making things a little more right on the Wednesday, Dec. 6 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Hilary (Mishael Morgan) broke the story that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) had been arrested during her show, and the move was one which pissed off Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Devon (Bryton James) and Noah (Robert Adamson), all of whom were unaware of the situation at the time and have close relationships with her. Devon, in particular, lashed out at his ex-wife because he assumed she was still peddling trash tv on the CBS soap.
Now, Hilary will express to Devon that she's sorry she upset him—and will try to tempt him into an offer he can't refuse.
"Let Tessa come on 'The Hilary Hour' today and tell her side of the story," she says in a preview clip.
Angry because Hilary's stunt has potentially hurt his record label, of which Tessa was his act, Devon may initially refuse. However, he may reconsider things later, after potentially coming up with a plan that allows Tessa to get some good public exposure again, but also reveals the truth behind her arrest.
Sure enough, when Tessa goes to the studio to do the show, the entire story behind her arrest will come out, and she will reveal how she was the one who gave her sister, Crystal (Morgan Odenbeder) the gun that was used to kill Zach (Ryan Ashton), and that Crystal used it to save Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall). She will also make sure to emphasize that while the gun did belong to the Newman family, no one in the group was involved with what happened at all.
The decision to go on the show and tell the truth could prove to be a great one which benefits both Tessa and Devon, and Hilary will be thrilled—and may try to use the teamwork she and Devon used to get the truth out there as a means of worming her way back into his life. However, her ex may still be exceptionally wary of her and far too on to her games, though it won't keep her from continuing to try.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
