‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Hilary Fumes At Mariah’s Bold Move In March 22 Episode

They have been enemies for a while because of professional conflicts, but personal relationships with others will lead to more problems between Hilary and Mariah on the Wednesday, March 22 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

In a preview clip for the CBS soap, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will be out with Devon (Bryton James), Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) ex-husband, and she’ll be curious about whether or not the night out is something more than two friends grabbing a bite to eat.

“When you asked me to dinner, was that a date?” she asks.

Devon will tell her their outing will be whatever she wants it to be, and though she will initially be hesitant to try anything beyond a relationship as friends, or even as boss and employee, things could change when they run into Hilary later in the night.

After the truth about Hilary sabotaging Mariah’s chance as a host of GC Buzz came out, Devon asked her for a divorce. Things have been getting ugly because of it, especially since Hilary wants the show as a settlement. The tension has also led to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) noticing, though he still insisted on going out with Hilary on their own date.

“Things have changed around here,” she says in the clip.

“I’m a big believer in change. It keeps things interesting,” he replies.

However, when the two arrive at The Underground for their date and see Mariah and Devon there together, things will change in ways neither expected. Mariah will notice them, and insist to Devon that while she probably isn’t the girl for him, he does need someone special. Then, to make Hilary jealous, she will lean in and kiss Devon. Hilary will notice, leading to potential more tension between the women later on.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
