'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: How Will Sharon Thank Rey For His Help?
He helped Nick and Billy prove that JT was alive, which exonerated Sharon, Nikki and Victoria, but it came at a cost for his career. Now, Rey will receive some unexpected support from Sharon as she not only tries to express her gratitude but pursue a romantic relationship with him as well on the Wednesday, March 27 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
After being the one who arrested Sharon (Sharon Case) and the others for JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder, Rey (Jordi Villasousa) was torn, because he loved her but couldn’t let her crimes go because of his commitment to doing the right thing with his job. However, following her conviction and sentencing on the CBS soap, he was convinced to team up with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson) in a plot to expose the fact that JT was actually alive. Though the plan didn’t work out exactly as they had hoped, it did prove they were right, and as a result, Sharon, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) are all free.
However, after revealing to Christine (Lauralee Bell) his role in helping the women escape on their way to prison, Paul (Doug Davidson) fired Rey, meaning he is no longer working the job he loves. However, he may not be the only one who will wind up leaving life at the police station behind.
“Rey receives support from Sharon,” spoilers reveal.
Likely, Sharon will try and show her solidarity to Rey, whom she is pursuing a romance with now that she is free and he is no longer with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez), and that will mean standing up to Paul and also giving up her job at the police station, even though she worked incredibly hard to get there. She may be warned in the process that she’s giving up a lot for a man who already proved once that she may not be able to trust him with her secrets, but she will remain firm that she’s doing what’s right.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
