'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Jack Becomes Desperate For A Solution
They were shocked after seeing that she was not only no longer in the hospital following a stroke, but seemed unresponsive as Graham carted her away for a private flight somewhere. Now, Jack, Ashley and Traci will become desperate to find a solution for getting Dina back before it's too late on the Friday, Oct. 20 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
After Dina's (Marla Adams) stroke, Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) were shocked because Graham (Max Shippee) had Power of Attorney for Dina, and could make all the decisions about her care. They were further floored on the CBS soap when they saw that she had been checked out of the hospital, and that Graham had been the one to arrange for her care.
However, the final blow came to them when they arrived at the airport, and watched as Graham loaded their wheelchair-bound mother onto a private flight—to an unknown destination. Unexpectedly, their calls to their mother to let her know they were there so she could return to them were ignored, and Dina was clearly drugged and unable to process that information.
Now, knowing that Graham could be taking Dina literally anywhere in the world and possibly keeping them apart for good, Jack will become desperate to stop it from happening. He had already started making moves with Michael (Christian Le Blanc) to try and strip Graham of his power, but it has become more critical than ever for him to take control. Now, he will go to Michael and warn him that he needs to make things happen, and quickly, before it's too late.
"Listen, Jack, I'm trying," Michael says in a preview clip.
"I need it. Come up with a solution, or I will," Jack interrupts.
The situation is more important than ever for all of the Abbott siblings because they have since learned the truth about Graham, including who he really is, and why he attached himself to Dina the way he did. They know he is out for revenge because Dina stole his step-father, Brent Davis, away from his mother when he was a kid, and he blamed her for the hard life he had without a father figure. His manipulations prior to that point had been masterful though, as Dina had not only given him Power of Attorney over her estate and her healthcare, but she had also made him the sole beneficiary on her will, something else her kids were trying to change after the truth came out.
If Graham is successful at keeping Dina away long enough, in her current health state, he has the ability to keep her from the treatment she may need to save her life. If he can successfully get Dina to die before her children can either interfere or get the will changed, then he will get everything, and his revenge will truly be complete.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
