'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Jack Races To Save Billy From Danger
He managed to rescue Reed, Mattie and Charlie from the fire at the Underground, but became trapped inside when a partial collapse occurred inside the building. However, Billy will find himself rescued by someone completely unexpected on the Friday, Nov. 3 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Billy (Jason Thompson) went into the Underground to rescue the trapped teens on the CBS soap, and while Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and CHarlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) were freed, he became trapped when a collapse occurred. Now, he is in the building with his leg trapped, and the chances of getting him out are slim. However, when it becomes clear someone needs to step up and help, his estranged brother, Jack (Peter Bergman), will surprisingly demand to be let into the building so he can get his younger brother to safety,
"I can't let you go in there sir," the fireman says to Jack in a preview clip.
"You're going to have to restrain me, you're not going to be able to keep me away from my family," Jack declares.
Jack and Billy have been estranged badly for over a year, ever since the truth came out about Billy's affair with Jack's then wife, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Things have only gotten worse between the brothers as they've also become competitors in business, each trying to undermine the other in the effort of coming out on top. However, now, with Billy's life on the line, Jack has realized how much he wants his brother to still be a part of his life, and he will do whatever he can to try and save him.
His insistence that he be allowed to help Billy could pay off, and he will be warned of the risk he's taking, but will be allowed to go into the building to try and get his brother free. As he tries to pull Billy out, the two will quickly make amends and put their differences aside, and the hope that they will continue that truce will help them as they both try to get themselves to safety.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
