‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: JT Is Spotted In Genoa City
They’ve been operating under the assumption that he is in fact still alive and causing all of the problems that have recently been plaguing both Newman Enterprises and the Newman family. Now, Sharon and Nikki will officially be spooked when they get the biggest confirmation yet that JT is back in Genoa City and settling some old scores on the Friday, July 6 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Ever since the threats Victoria (Amelia Heinle) received by email about Newman secrets no longer being safe, there has been a siege on the family company, and mainly Victor (Eric Braden) on the CBS soap. Confidential documents were all copied and sent to the office before Victor’s confidential medical records were exposed. Following that, attacks began at Newman sites, and another article has also begun to circulate which claims Victor had a role in JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) disappearance. Anything that could be traced has been traced back to JT, and security footage appeared to show him destroying one of the Newman sites. However, there has been a problem that only a few people know about in terms of whether he could be the one responsible for the issues.
Victoria, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) all had believed JT was dead after Nikki smacked him in the head with a fireplace poker on the night he tried to attack Victoria. They had worked together to bury him in Chancellor Park and destroy evidence but were unable to return to his grave site to make sure he was still there. Since then, they’ve all operated on the assumption he could be alive but didn’t actually believe it. However, now, there will officially be confirmation that he—or someone who is a dead ringer for him—is definitely back in town and looking to get revenge.
Sharon and Nikki will be together at the former’s home discussing all of the recent events that have been happening, which have included the attacks, as well as the ongoing paternity suit between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor. As the two women admit to being frazzled by what’s occurring, they will hear a noise outside. As they look out the window, they will be stunned as a hooded figure is directly in their line of site.
Then, after the person in the hoodie turns around and looks directly towards them, Sharon and Nikki will let out a scream—because the person staring back at them will officially be JT, and they will know that they could be in serious trouble.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
