‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Juliet And Hilary Make Shocking Moves To Expose Cane

He believes his secret hook-up with Juliet in Tokyo is a secret that will remain safe from his wife, but Cane is about to get a rude awakening about things thanks to both Juliet and Hilary on the Monday, June 5 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After the video of Billy (Jason Thompson) taking bets with hockey players leaked and nearly torpedoed the deal for a cologne with the National Hockey League on the CBS Soap, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was only able to salvage things if she promised to fire someone from Brash and Sassy. After considering who she would let go, Victoria settled on Juliet (Laur Allen), because she felt she had failed to get the video approved before sending it to be aired on television. Immediately after she lost her job, Juliet was approached by Hilary (Mishael Morgan), who encouraged her to file a sexual harassment suit because of what had happened between her and Cane (Daniel Goddard) when they got drunk in Tokyo.

Now, knowing that she is planning to do so out of revenge for her being let go, Juliet will run into Billy (Jason Thompson), who will apologize to her that she lost her job. However, when he wishes her luck and offers to help her with a future job search, she will have a cryptic response for him in return.

“Best of luck Juliet,” he says in a preview clip.

“Oh, I’m going to make my own luck,” she replies.

Meanwhile, Hilary is busy plotting her own next moves to expose the secret Cane has been keeping, though her motives are very different from Juliet’s. While Juliet is acting out of scorn over Cane and losing her job, Hilary is acting out due to the contentious relationship she has always had with her former sister-in-law, and Cane’s wife, Lily (Christel Khalil).

Hilary overheard a conversation between Cane and Juliet about their one night stand and got Juliet to admit it to her while she secretly recorded the conversation. She handed the file over to Lily, but before she could listen to it, Cane destroyed it on Victoria’s orders, since all old footage for the hockey deal needed to disappear in order for them to work on a new campaign, and they both were under the impression that the file contained that footage. However, though she was momentarily deterred when it came to successfully exposing Cane and ruining Lily’s life, Hilary still feels confident that she can get revenge, and will drop a suggestive and sarcastic comment about how the pair are role models when it comes to marriage after she runs into them during a romantic meal.

“Seeing you and Cane together, it is validation that marriage can last, and that you can stay absolutely committed to one another,” she says in the clip.

While both will likely brush off her comment, and Lily will assume it was a swipe at her own past infidelity, when news of the sexual harassment suit hits, Lily could start to become suspicious that her husband is hiding a very big secret.
