'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Nick Learns The Truth
He was stunned when he realized someone had drained his bank account of every penny it had. Now, Nick will realize just who was behind the attack on his financials and start planning revenge on the Tuesday, Oct. 3 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Since he was disowned by Victor (Eric Braden) and kicked out of his home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been insisting on doing things independently of his wealthy father on the CBs soap. That has included a plan with his own son, Noah (Robert Adamson), to expand their night club business and make it a national company. However, he was stunned when he came home from a trip and saw that his bank account balance had been drained to have no money in it.
Now, he has been trying to figure out who could have hacked his bank account, and after some subtle jabs from his father when he runs into him, as well as a run-in with Kevin (Greg Rikaart), who had moved from Genoa City not too long ago, it will dawn on Nick that Victor had been the one behind the crime. Now, he will inform someone on the phone that he no longer needs help, because he knows what happened.
"You can stop trying to find who hacked my account," he says in a preview clip, as he watches Victor toast someone. "I figured out who it was."
Now that he knows what happened, and just who was behind it, Nick may become consumed by revenge when it comes to getting even with his father. Being so preoccupied could have some major unexpected consequences for him in other areas however, because going up against Victor never ends well for whoever tries to go against him.
Of course, Victor will be feeling celebratory because he was in fact the one who initiated the attack on Nick's accounts. Since the money Nick had came from a settlement and technically belonged to Victor, the Newman patriarch decided that the man who no longer wanted to be a Newman didn't deserve the money associated with the name. Needing a favor, he called Kevin and brought him back to town to hack the account and drain the funds. Because he was still upset over Nick and Chelsea's (Melissa Clare Egan) actions, which led to Chloe's (Elizabeth Hendrickson "suicide," Kevin had agreed to go along with the plot.
Now, the war between father and son will only continue to grow hotter and hotter as the two men continue to set their sights on making one another's lives a living hell. However, as their feud continues to heat up, the casualties that each will face along the way may only get bigger and bigger, as they not only wind up continuing to hurt one another, but potentially also the loved ones that they still share and each hold dear
