‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki Takes Extreme Action To Protect Her Family

She is trying to make sure no one finds out the truth about Victor’s latest actions, but Nikki’s attempt to cover things up could make his biographer more suspicious when she tries to keep the book from being written on the Thursday, April 20 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Victor (Eric Braden) had previously hired Scott (Daniel Hall) to write his memoir and tell his life story, and things were going well. However, since then on the CBS soap, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (AMelia Heinle) all learned that Victor was partially responsible for Adam’s death because he had hired Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to help him frame his son for a crime he didn’t commit. Chloe then later killed Adam on her own, and Victor recently helped her escape town After learning what he did, he was disowned, but to protect themselves and the rest of their family, Nikki, Nick and Victoria aren’t sharing the truth with the world.

Now, Nikki will try to convince Scott not to go through with writing the memoir, but in a preview clip for the newest episode, he will immediately suspect she’s trying to cover up something new.

“This isn’t some general anxiety about the past. What are you trying to hide Nikki?” He asks in the clip.

Meanwhile, Scott isn’t the only one suspicious about what may be going on behind closed doors with the Newman family. Sensing an opportunity to finally get revenge on Victor for the things he did to them, Jack (Peter Begrmann) will seek out Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) in an effort to partner up with her to finally get payback for the Marco situation.

“Victor always comes out on top,” Phyllis says.

“This time, he won’t have his family backing him up,” Jack replies.
