'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Things With Dina Take An Unexpected Turn
The battle to take care of Dina as she continues to suffer from Alzheimer's is set to continue heating up, as her children and Graham continue to go head-to-head on the Wednesday, Jan. 17 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
Since taking Graham (Max Shippee) to court, only to learn that he is actually married to their mother, Dina (Marla Adams), the Abbott siblings have been racing against the clock to find some way to get her back into their care on the CBS soap. This has involved trying to find any way they possibly can to prove that the marriage is a sham, as it happened after Dina was already diagnosed, but thus far, their plans have been stalled.
Though they may finally have evidence that proves the marriage isn't a real one, Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) will still likely have to wait for a judge to hear them out, meaning that Dina is still in harm's way with Graham as her caretaker. The siblings aren't even aware of just how much danger their mother is in, since they don't know Graham is also the one who broke into the Jabot lab and stole the deadly chemical compounds.
Dina herself, while still in a confused state, also seems to be getting concerned about her relationship with Graham and has appeared more resistant. Still, she has no choice but to stay with Graham since they are married, and he has her medical power of attorney. Jack will once again stop by their suite at the Athletic Club to warn Graham that he will lose the battle in just a few days' time, but little does he know that Graham plans to permanently fix things in his favor.
Graham not only stole the compounds and had a syringe he tricked Ashley into touching, but he also plans to finally exact true revenge on Dina for the past. With all of the supplies in hand, he will prepare to inject Dina with the deadly chemicals, in the hopes that it leads to her premature death. However, the plan could still go completely in a way he didn't expect.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
