'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: What Will The Fallout For The Newmans Be?
Their secret is officially out and everyone now knows that Victor Newman is really alive on “The Young and the Restless.” However, now that some of the other members of the Newman family know they were lied to, the fallout will begin for those who were a part of the plot on the Tuesday, Oct. 2 episode.
After Adam (Marc Grossman) learned that Victor (Eric Braden) was alive and confronted him before leaving town, the Newman family patriarch decided to finally come clean to everyone on the CBS soap and reveal his death had been a ruse. Naturally, that hasn’t been received well by the people who were kept in the dark—especially his grandkids.
Now, the fallout for the lies will begin for those who were involved in the cover-up and scheme, specifically, Nick (Joshua Morrow), who has to contend with not only his child in Genoa City, Summer (Hunter King), as well as Faith and Noah, who are both abroad, but will also have to deal with what it means for his relationship with Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan), who is not happy that she has to reveal news to her own son, Connor, about his grandfather being alive.
“Chelsea remains firm,” spoilers reveal.
Chelsea was furious with Nick when she learned the truth about Victor because she was already dealing with her son’s grief that his grandfather had died and his father was leaving town—and she would now also have to handle how he would process being lied to. As a result, she had told Nick she needed some time—and she likely isn’t going to budge when it comes to that feeling.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Newmans are also taking action in an effort to make sure the plot doesn’t break their family for good. As a result, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will put a plan in the works to mend fences.
“Nikki takes control,” spoilers state.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
