'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: What Will Nikki’s Arrival In Vegas Mean For Adam?
Victor dropped a massive bombshell when he told Sharon that the reason he had been in Vegas so much was that Adam was alive and he was trying to convince his son to return to Genoa City. Now, as a plan is developed to try and coax him out of hiding, Nikki will arrive in Las Vegas as well to demand some answers about what’s happening on the Tuesday, May 7 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott)) was the one who sent Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Villasousa) after Victor (Eric Braden) in the first place, and after Sharon sent word back to Genoa city about Adam being alive on the CBS soap, Nikki likely decided she needed confirmation for herself before believing that Victor’s son was still around and he wasn’t being played.
“Nikki heads to Las Vegas,” spoilers reveal.
However, her arrival also comes at a time that makes things a little more difficult for the plan to get Adam out of hiding, since he went underground even further after Victor pushed him too hard to try and remember his life from before the explosion that everyone thought killed him. As a plan for Sharon to meet with Adam alone is developed, with the hopes that she can be the one to convince Adam to go back to Genoa City and get to know the people he left behind there, Nikki could pose a problem since she was never overly warm to him—and likely also doesn’t want him back around anyway.
Nikki doesn’t trust Adam much since he and Victor were often at odds, and her instinct is to always protect her husband and the legacy he set for their children together. In addition, since Adam’s presumed death, they all learned that the son Nick has been raising as his own, Christian, was really Adam’s, and Nikki may be concerned what his return would mean for Nick, who has grown attached to the boy.
Of course, as Nikki potentially starts letting her resentment about Adam being alive show, the truth about whether or not he will even come home to GC will all lie on Sharon’s shoulders, and the pressure will be on for her to get this right or risk that Victor pushes further away from his own loved ones in his determined quest to get Adam back.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
