He has been doing whatever he can to get what he wants, but has been facing battles at every turn, Now, as Adam tries to take the next step to reunite with Chelsea and get his sons back, he could force his unwilling helper to play dirty on the Wednesday, July 10 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Adam (Marc Grossman) wants his life with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) back on the CBS soap, but she has been resistant to him the entire way—including after her husband Calvin’s (John Burke) sudden death. To make matters worse for him, she’s grown close to Nick (Joshua Morrow), with whom he’s also fighting for custody of his other son, Christian. Now, realizing that Nick and Chelsea are both determined to keep him away from the kids they’re raising and that Chelsea genuinely seems averse to the idea of rekindling their love story, Adam may play dirty to make sure that they both pay as he tries to get what he wants.

“Adam makes Kevin play dirty,” spoilers reveal.

Since his battle with Nick is really based on a lawsuit for custody that will play out in court and he already took Dark Horse from him, Adam will likely turn his attentions to Chelsea this time. Though he still loves her and wants her back, he may feel he needs to force her hand—and could use her husband’s death to do it.

While Calvin seemed to die of natural causes, that may not have been the case. If Adam convinces Kevin to hack in and get his hands on the Autopsy report, which will show that the toxicology tests were inconclusive, he may have what he needs to try and get Chelsea back with him. If he can find a way to make it seem like she offed her own husband, then it could force her to reunite with him after all.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
