He’s been continuously haunted by visions of his dead daughter and warnings that he needed to stop Adam from doing something. Now, desperate to do what he thinks has to happen, Billy will make a dangerous move to try and take down the man he sees as his enemy on the Thursday, August 29 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Billy (Jason Thompson) has been haunted with memories of Delia and visions that she is trying to get him to take revenge on Adam (Marc Grossman) for her death for months, ever since he came back to Genoa City on the CBS soap. Despite getting help and opening up to other people about what’s been going on, he hasn’t gotten any better. Now, after hinting to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) that he has decided what he needs to do, Billy will make his move to take Adam down once and for all.

“Billy targets Adam,” spoilers reveal.

Billy had also previously broken into Adam’s place and stolen the handkerchief he had from his mother, and he will likely use it to try and convince Adam to go to the spot where he texted him to meet on the road. There, he likely will intend to end Adam’s life in the same way Delia’s life ended—by hitting him with a car.

However, his behavior is going to set off some red flags and alarms to those who are concerned with his behavior, like Chloe and Kevin (Greg Rikaart), as well as Victoria (Amelia Heinle). When they start comparing notes about the different things he has told each of them, it will become clear that he plans to take things too far now—and that he may need to be stopped.

However, his being stopped could still end in tragedy—even if the victim isn’t Adam.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
