He has been struggling with the expectations on him since they reunited and his own personal issues, and now, following his confession about what he’s been up to for months, Billy will make a shocking decision about what his future with Victoria will actually hold on the Wednesday, Jan. 29 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Billy (Jason Thompson) has been secretly meeting Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) for months and stopped going to therapy—things he finally admitted to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) when she confronted him about his behavior signaling signs of relapse on the CBS soap. Since then, he has admitted he doesn’t think he can stay on the pedestal she has put him on and live up to the standards. Now, with the couple once again at an impasse, he will make a decision on what his future holds.

“Billy makes a stunning move,” spoilers reveal.

Amanda decided to end their association recently, and Billy learned that she meant it. Now after another confrontation with Victoria following the failed meet-up, he will once again admit to loving her and the life they have together—but not the fact that he has to conform to what everyone expects of him. As he and Victoria continue to argue over whether or not he is at the risk of relapse or needs to go back to therapy, they will realize that they are broken—and may not be able to come back from it.

As a result, Billy will pack a suitcase and walk out—potentially for good.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
