'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Cane And Victoria Keep Their Secret?

They have both been going through a lot and were unprepared to handle the latest drama circling their lives. Now, following their passionate kiss, Cane and Victoria will be forced to work together to cover up more than a few new secrets on the Wednesday, Jan. 2 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After learning that Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) was the one who hit Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) with a car and that he was driving because Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) was drunk, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) went to confront Cane (Daniel Goddard) about the ordeal. Things quickly got heated between the two on the CBS soap, as Victoria called him out for initially covering up what really happened with the accident that killed Hilary (Mishael Morgan) a few months prior and he responded by criticizing her love life. Then, as they continued to spar, the two were overcome and suddenly found themselves engaged in a passionate lip-lock.

Now, it appears they will come to their senses and put an end to the kiss before it goes further—and they will come to an agreement about how best to handle their very complicated situation.

“Cane and Victoria agree on how to move forward,” spoilers for the CBS soap reveal.

Not only will they want to be on the same page about keeping the kiss a secret, since Cane is married and wants to remain faithful to Lily as he waits for her release from prison, but they will also quickly realize they need to work hard at keeping the truth about Nikki’s hit-and-run a secret as well in order to protect their sons.

Of course, keeping that a secret may be difficult for Victoria over time, because she already has another huge one she’s keeping from several others. While she’s relieved to know that Nikki wasn’t nearly killed by someone targeting her over JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) death, she still has to worry about that secret eventually being exposed as well. If she keeps piling on the things she isn’t sharing, it will only make things worse for her.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
