‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Dina’s Secret About Ashley Be Revealed?

Everyone in the family was set against Ashley after learning of how far she went to keep Jack from being CEO of Jabot. However, loyalties in the Abbott family may quickly slide once again as Dina’s big revelation comes to light on the Tuesday, Oct. 23 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Following the news that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) pulled off a massive scheme where she made Jack (Peter Bergman) believe he wasn’t really John’s son, the Abbott family seemed on the brink of collapse on the CBS soap. Ashley was no longer considered a prime example of virtue in her family, and it seemed as though there would never be a way for them to get past things as a whole. However, Dina’s (Marla Adams) revelation to Kyle (Michael Mealor) is now set to change everything and cause the family to self-destruct more than ever before.

Dina revealed the documents to Kyle, which granted Ashley the sole exclusive control over any lines she helped develop for Jabot. It was a stunning move that would allow her to take any of the company’s products and profits with her if she left—leaving the rest of the family, and Jabot itself, with virtually nothing. In an attempt to protect the legacy he and his father hoped to rebuild now that they are aware they have always been true Abbotts, Kyle made a move to shred the documents, as Dina struggled with him to keep them safe.

Y&R Spoilers tease that Kyle is caught in the act. While Dina already saw him trying to shred the papers, Jack may walk in on the struggle and assess the situation for himself. However, much to his mother’s dismay, he will also take a look at the documents and realize what they mean. In a preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above), he is seen putting the documents in the shredder himself.

However, that likely won’t be the end of the story for the newest Abbott family drama, as Dina won’t quietly accept the papers being shredded, even if her Alzheimer’s makes her believe John was the one shredding them, and not Jack. If she continues to talk about the situation with other members of the family, then the secret will officially be out.

Y&R spoilers state that “A mystery is solved by Traci.” If Dina vents to Traci and she becomes suspicious, she may find the shredded documents and put them back together. If she does that, then the truth will be out—and once again, the Abbott family will never be the same.
