'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Jack Finally Snap out of His Funk?
He hasn’t really been himself for a while, despite no longer dealing with major sabotage to his company or other serious drama within his family. However, after going to see his biggest competition, Jack may finally snap out of the funk that’s formed over his life after a tumultuous few years on the Thursday, July 18 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Jack (Peter Bergmann) has been through a wringer the last few years, dealing with bad relationships, betrayals and endless familial drama as his mother, Dina (Marla Adams) dealt with Alzheimer’s and continued to see her condition disintegrate. However, things have all mostly settled down now on the CBS soap, after Dina was housed in a facility that will keep her safe, he returned to head things up at Jabot and also started facing less intense competition. As a result, Jack has been in a funk he can’t shake, and in an effort to shake out of it, he has taken Billy (Jason Thompson) up on his offer to go visit their sister, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) in Paris.
“Jack visits his sister,” spoilers reveal.
A visit to Ashley may seem like a strange decision since she was the source of competition that gave him stress, but at the same time, she may the one who can give him the injection of confidence he needs to snap out of his issues. Both have likely had a different outlook on the way they did things in life following Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) death, and their rivalry ending and new support for each other could be what helps them both get past their issues.
Meanwhile, back home in Genoa City, his own loved ones will continue making moves of their own that are meant to show that they also mean business—and won’t let anyone knock them down and keep them from going after their goals. Among those will be Abby (Melissa Ordway), who has been feeling exceptionally confident since her restaurant, Society, took off.
“Abby makes a bold move,” spoilers reveal.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
