‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Kyle Uncover Ashley’s Secret?
She has a secret that has led to a former business partner threatening to expose her. Now, as Ashley tries to hold on to her recently won position as CEO of Jabot, Kyle will begin working to try and expose her on the Wednesday, Oct. 10 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Not long after Ashley (Eileen Davidson) began celebrating that she was voted in as CEO of the family company following the abolishment of the Blood Abbott clause, she was hit with a shock on the CBS soap. Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), who has been working for her as a “chemist,” went to her to cut a new deal for their work, but she informed him she was no longer going to need his services. As a result, he threatened to expose a big secret about her and their work together-and told her he’d keep in touch.
Now, Ashley is being forced to deal with a blackmail plot, one which could seriously derail her time as CEO. Andrew is not giving up on either getting more money from her or a job at Jabot, though she thinks she can handle him. However, she may lose control of the situation entirely when he goes to Kyle, who has already threatened to watch Ashley crash and burn.
Kyle will quickly realize Andrew may hold the key to getting himself and Jack in control at Jabot. Since he and Jack (Peter Bergman) are also not blood Abbotts, they too are eligible to have the most powerful positions in the company—ones Ashley won’t allow them to have while she’s in control.
However, since Andrew has worked at a DNA lab, he may have information that no one expected to hear. As the stuff he has to share threatens to come out, a preview clip for the week’s episodes shows Ashley telling Jack that he can stop his search for his biological father—because she knows who it really is.
If Andrew worked with her and used his prior experience—it could mean Ashley’s big secret will be the biggest one she’s ever had.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
