'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Nick Make Phyllis Suspicious?
He was previously convinced his father was guilty of murdering JT but has suddenly had a change of heart about the entire matter and vowed he would get Victor freed and exonerated of all the charges. Now, Nick’s change of heart will start to raise suspicions around Genoa City on the Wednesday, Jan. 16 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
After Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) confessed to Nick (Joshua Morrow) that she was the one who had killed JT (Thad Luckinbill) Nick became determined to get Victor (Eric Braeden) out of jail and to have the charges dismissed on the CBS soap. However, his change of heart will start to make others suspicious, especially Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who has made it clear she thinks the best thing for everyone is for Victor to be locked up for the crime.
“Nick changes his mind,” spoilers reveal.
Phyllis will, of course, wonder what led to his change of heart since it came after a conversation with his mother, and she will start to become curious about what was said. What Nikki hadn’t told Nick was that while she and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) were involved in the murder and coverup, Phyllis and Sharon (Sharon Case) were also a part of it. Phyllis will likely begin to become nervous that Nikki has risked exposing all of them, and she won’t be happy that everything she has worked to keep hidden could be at risk of exposure if Nick uncovers the entire truth.
Of course, she won’t be the only one who notices that he has suddenly become convinced of his father’s innocence. After Nick confronts Rey (Jordi Villasousa) about his press conference that the case is strong against Victor, he will once again raise suspicions, as he swears to the detective that whoever set fire to the Newman Ranch stables must be trying to frame Victor. Considering when he previously questioned both Nick and Victoria, Nick was sure Victor was guilty, Rey will also begin to wonder what he knows.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
