'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Phyllis Embrace The Dangerous Side?
She’s been playing with fire in an attempt to get revenge on the men she feels wronged her, and now, as a new attempt to seek vengeance arises, Phyllis could embrace a more dangerous quest than she imagined on the Tuesday, June 4 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) previously launched her own site to compete with the Jabot Collective platform that the Abbot family was planning to launch on the CBS soap, something which infuriated her since she was ousted as the company’s CEO because she allowed for Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to steal the patents for all of the company’s products from right under her nose. As a result, she sought revenge, which she tried to get with her knock-off website and company, but she was caught out by Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and warned to shut it down.
She then wound up making a fool of herself when she crashed the party the Abbotts threw to celebrate their launch, and after tearfully storming out, she went on to crash her car. However, the person she crashed into could wind up leading her down an unexpected and dangerous path.
“Phyllis runs into danger,” spoilers reveal.
As it turns out, the person she ran into was Adam (Marc Grossman), who has been on a mission of his own to get back the life he wants now that he remembers everything from before the explosion. So far, he hasn’t been having any luck getting what he wants though, with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) first cutting down the amount of money she was willing to give him, and then learning that Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) had no interest in reuniting with him again since she had married someone new and allowed her new husband to adopt Adam’s son, Connor. Knowing Nick (Joshua Morrow) isn’t going to willingly hand over Christian, his other son, he knows he will need to do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
As a result, following their car accident, he will likely try to convince Phyllis to join him on his own quest. And while working for him will temporarily take her away from her own goals, he will likely promise to give her a substantial sum of money for her time and help—money she could use to really get what she wants.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
