‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Sharon Still Marry Nick?
She has yet to show up for her own wedding ceremony, which is a major cause for concern. However, Sharon actually arriving for the event could actually be the bigger reason for Nick and others to worry instead on the Thursday, Oct. 4 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
It initially seemed as if Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) wedding day would happen with zero problems or hiccups on the CBS soap. However, things started going south quickly as Nick waited at the church for his bride—who has not yet shown. Now, as desperation continues over the thought that she has backed out, the worry will set in for those who wonder if the secrets they’ve been keeping have found a way to get back to them.
Nicki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will be worried that the guilt over what happened to JT (Thad Luckinbill) has driven Sharon to confess to the police, which spells bad news for all of them, while Nick and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will be worried that Sharon learned about their one-night stand. With no clear clue on what’s going on with Sharon, everyone will be at a loss—until she finally arrives at the church, seemingly ready to marry Nick.
However, Nick’s relief is set to be short-lived, because as it turns out, both he and Phyllis should have been more concerned about Sharon actually showing up. What they don’t know is that she is, in fact, aware of their night together, after Mariah (Camryn Grimes) told her what she overheard Summer (Bayley Corman) talking about. With knowledge of their night together in her head, Sharon is very much unlikely to still go through with the wedding, and will likely use the venue to expose the secret, humiliating both Nick and Phyllis instead.
Of course, her revealing the secret in front of all of their friends and family won’t just bring harm to Nick, but Phyllis as well. Billy (Jason Thompson) had proposed marriage to her prior to Sharon’s arrival and asked that they marry as soon as he got back from rehab. Learning she slept with her ex, however, will likely put all of those plans also on the line—and the consequences of that one night will only begin to be felt.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
