‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Summer Expose Phyllis And Nick’s Secret?

She has been actively trying to figure out just who her mother slept with when she and Billy were apart, and now, Summer will finally piece together all of the clues and learn the truth about her parents and their steamy night together on the Tuesday, August 14 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Summer (Hunter King) has made it her mission on the CBS soap to seduce Billy (Jason Thompson) and get him into bed, and even has a bet going with Kyle (Michael Mealor) on whether or not she’ll succeed. Billy has previously rebuffed all of her advances, but she knows that if she can prove Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) cheated on him, he’ll be more willing to let her seduce him. She learned that her mother slept with someone when she and Billy were briefly broken up, but hasn’t yet figured out who.

She previously suspected that Phyllis had turned to her former husband, Jack (Peter Bergman), but after an attempt to set them up and get them caught in the act of a hookup, she realized that she was wrong. Now, as new clues have continued to emerge suggesting a secret, Summer will figure out that the man Phyllis slept with was none other than her own father—Nick (Joshua Morrow).

Summer will piece together the clues after she meets up with Kyle again following the bridesmaids dress fitting at Sharon’s (Sharon Case). While there, Sharon revealed to the group assembled that she and Nick had come close to splitting up recently after Nick revealed his dark side by opening up Dark Horse and going after his father. She and Kyle will realize that the night Sharon claimed Nick didn’t come home was the same one when he announced his company’s opening, and Kyle will reveal that the following morning was when he went to Phyllis’ and saw another man’s clothes.

Then, realizing that her father didn’t go home to Sharon that night because he was the man who's clothing Kyle saw, Summer will figure out the truth. Her parents turned to one another when they were going through their rough patches in their own relationships and were keeping their night together a secret.

Armed with the truth, Summer could cause a lot of damage, especially if she wants to break Phyllis and Billy up for good. Now, the power will be in her hands, as she considers revealing what she knows. Will she use the info to break p her mother’s relationship and steal her boyfriend, or will she find a new purpose and change her mind about the plot?
