Soap stars Courtney Hope and Chad Duell just tied the knot.
The "Young and the Restless" actress, 32, exchanged "I do's" with the "General Hospital" actor, 34, Saturday in a gorgeous "Till-Death"-themed outdoor wedding in Malibu, California, People reported. The bride and groom both wore red ensembles, while their wedding guests wore all-black ensembles to the gothic ceremony.
Hope sported a Victorian wedding gown that featured voluminous tulle and scarlet lace details from head to toe. Duell's red suit, meanwhile, featured black embellishments and a rose boutonnière.
Hope shared snaps of her wedding gown on Instagram. She thanked Adolfo Sanchez for bringing to life her "vision of my choker tear-away dress, lace legging boots and 'Till Death' veil."
She added in the caption, "I’ve visualized this dress for years and he exceeded expectation! And thanks for honoring @duelly vision as well! You’re a rockstar and I felt like a damn queen!! Love you so much!"
In another post, Hope thanked everyone who celebrated their nuptials with them. According to her, it was "the perfect gothic night, surrounded by those we cherish most."
Among Duell and Hope's wedding guests were Katrina Bowden, Hope's co-stars Tracey Bregman and Hunter King, as well as "The Bold and the Beautiful" actress Katherine Kelly Lang.
Duell proposed to Hope on Valentine's Day during a Malibu beachside picnic back in February after five years of dating.
Hope previously detailed his proposal during an interview with People, revealing that she got emotional when Duell read her "the most beautiful poem."
"He then told me to close my eyes and turn the other way 'cause he had to 'set something up.' Then he comically fumbled behind me to distract me from what he was really doing — and when I turned around, he was on his knee!" she recalled.
The "YATR" star said she didn't expect Duell's proposal but that it was "better than I ever imagined." She shared that she "wasn't too thrown off" when he arranged a picnic because Duell often made romantic gestures.
Duell told the outlet that prior to the proposal, he had a "strong feeling" Hope would say yes but was still nervous and hoped she would like the ring he got her.
Duell and Hope, who started dating in 2016, also said they are looking forward to creating more memories together and having children following their wedding.
