'Young And The Restless': Unexpected Drama Threatens JT And Victoria's Party
They have reasons to celebrate after rekindling their romance and quickly taking it to a serious place, but a party that JT and Victoria host in their own honor will take a seriously wrong turn when the drama between their guests implodes on the Wednesday, Feb. 7 episode of "The Young and the Restless."
JT (Thad Luckinbill) will plan a dinner party for him and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) in honor of what would be their wedding anniversary, had they not divorced so many years prior. Among the people he will invite to the party however will be Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow). However, following the recent drama that went down between the two women on the CBS soap, things will quickly go haywire.
Prior to the party, JT, Phyllis and Chelsea were all working together to try and uncover who was behind stealing the money from Chelsea 2.0 sales from Fenmore's. Though a woman named Alexandra West had been named as the culprit, she was quickly determined to be an alias name, and the actual person behind the crime is still at large. After learning about the extensive cash found in Chelsea's bathroom wall, Phyllis quickly realized that she was the one responsible, but an attempt to confront her did not go well.
When Phyllis indicated initially to Chelsea that it was clearly someone who was an employee of her company, she suggested that they conduct lie detector tests, and added that Chelsea could go first to assure everyone. However, Chelsea balked, and became enraged that Phyllis was accusing her of the crimes. Since then, Phyllis has formally announced that she does believe Chelsea is the one responsible, and the attempts to prove it will cause the drama to spill-over at the party.
Phyllis will try to get some new inside info about Chelsea's potential crimes by contacting her old partner, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), to find out if this would have been Chelsea's MO. However, while Jordan will admit that this is the kind of thing Chelsea did in the past, he will also warn her Phyllis has been asking questions. So when the two women see one another at the party, chaos will ensue.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
